Innovative and connected building systems that help the people you serve
Technology exists to help people get through their day, often invisibly and without being obtrusive. For instance, the electronic access control system at an office that’s connected to a video surveillance system should offer security while no one notices it’s there.
R.E. Dimond and Associates of Indianapolis has a team of BICSI Certified and Registered Communication Distribution Designers (RCDD) and Professional Engineers (P.E.) with decades of experience and knowledge.
These talented building engineers and consultants never stop learning and can design and oversee the integration and setup of your IT, communications, Internet of Things (IoT), and Internet of Buildings (IoB) projects.
Get your building updated with the latest technology and design expertise in:
- AV systems like projectors, TVs, speakers, and sound systems
- Inside and outside plant infrastructure
- Voice applications
- Building safety systems like fire alarms, card access, keypads, and video surveillance systems
- Energy management
- Sound reinforcement systems
- Theater design
- Internet-connected security
- Environmental control
Better building systems start with human-focused technology
Typical building systems like plumbing and electrical make inherent sense to most people. After all, if a building’s light switches don’t turn on the lights or if the boilers don’t heat the structure, you know you have a problem.
Building owners and technology directors, interior designers, and architects also often have existing building platforms or central base stations that allow them to manage, retrieve, and review information. A new technology design can expand and update those services.
R.E. Dimond engineers keep up with current smart systems and focus on future technology that can influence your building, customers, employees, and visitors.
R.E. Dimond and Associates can:
Recent projects with cutting-edge intelligent building designOur nationally recognized clients have benefited from energy-efficient designs that improve the performance of their sound systems, student performance, health, safety, and all while keeping costs under control.
Brownsburg High School
The core Brownsburg HS building was relatively unchanged since it opened in 1971. But expansions in population and in the form of 13 additions left the infrastructure in dire need of an upgrade. See how R.E. Dimond and Associates doubled the square footage, updating heating and cooling systems, and expanded technology all within the school schedule.
Sweetwater Renovation and Expansion
Our engineers helped Sweetwater do more of what they were already doing: growing rapidly, expanding sales, and putting technology to work in their warehouse. See how Sweetwater put new networking to work around complex conveyor systems and kept the project on schedule.
Made @ Plainfield
A new adult learning in Plainfield required a new, collaborative approach with multiple organizations consolidating into one facility. In pursuit of helping residents skill up for work in technology, cybersecurity, medical assisting, and logistics training, R.E. Dimond and Associates helped this new construction project handle multiple users, tenants, and equipment needs from evacuation fans, lab safety, and diesel exhaust ventilation.
