WELL and LEED Certification and Documentation

Indiana’s only WELL-AP certified engineer is at R.E. Dimond and Associates

WELL Certification focuses on how “human-focused” a building is, such as how well it accommodates people of all age groups, body types, abilities, and cognitive states. For instance, door sensors that help wheelchair users enter and exit a building can also help people carrying large boxes. Or ventilation systems designed to reduce airborne pollutants and viruses can silently improve everyone’s health and safety.

There are about 20,000 WELL-accredited professionals worldwide, each from different specializations, such as architecture or interior design. R.E. Dimond and Associates has the only WELL AP accredited professional engineer in Indiana.

LEED Certification can lead to big benefits for building owners

There are four levels of LEED certification, ranging from Certified to Silver, Gold, and Platinum. There are also various frameworks for each certification depending on a building’s use case.

Our engineers have helped document hundreds of buildings and projects. LEED certification is based on accumulating points across a variety of sustainability categories and ranking factors ranging from energy efficiency to accessibility of bicycle parking.
