Renovating and modernizing the Cabaret Theatre on a tight budget and in a tight space

With a tight space and a tight budget of $1.6 million, the Cabaret Theatre in Indianapolis challenged our engineering teams to renovate and modernize the facility while preserving its historic charm and character.

R.E. Dimond and Associates implemented a common sense and budget-minded mechanical design that is easy to maintain at the Cabaret. The system provides occupants with a high level of temperature and humidity control.

Further, the insulated ductwork provides excellent sound attenuation so patrons can hear the performance, not the hum of an air conditioner or blower unit.
