R.E. Dimond and Associates provides comprehensive building system design services from conception to completion. We are proud of our Construction Administration team who provides inspection services, acting as the Owner’s Representative.
Construction Administration oversees a contractor’s work to ensure construction techniques, materials and equipment are aligned with contract documents. Proactive observation of a contractor’s progress helps maintain the successful and timely completion of the project and reduces change orders in the field.
These services earn R.E. Dimond and Associates continued business with Indiana State University. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Technology change orders totaled less than one percent of construction costs on the last four major renovations.

The renovation & expansion of the College of Health & Human Services included major upgrades to improve temperature control and air quality with complete replacement of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology systems in the existing building as well as new systems in the addition.
Fine Arts Building

Renovation of the 1940s Fine Arts Building included replacement of critical mechanical and electrical systems that have become obsolete. R.E. Dimond and Associates designed a custom air handling unit that was built in place to accommodate the tight space and historic fabric of the building.
Sycamore Towers Dining

With the renovation of four residential halls in Sycamore Towers, updating the connecting dining hall completed the project. Single zone large HVAC variable units provide air for the shared dining room. Demand controlled ventilation was utilized given the large variation in occupancy.

The Hulman Center is undergoing a massive 150,000 sf renovation which includes new mechanical and electrical systems, a new facade, updated concourses, and renovated upper and lower bowls which will feature a 10,000 sq. ft grand welcome lobby pavilion, a new box office suite, emergency and medical triage suites, new concessions and restrooms, as well as locker rooms and training facility renovations.
